Team

Invite members, see who is in the workspace, and understand what each role can do.

Navigate to Settings → Team.

Roles

There are three roles, and they behave as two tiers.

Ownerrole

Full control, including the business record and billing. The owner role itself cannot be changed from the team screen.

Adminrole

Everything an owner can do day to day — settings, accounting, reports, and the business record. Cannot change the owner's role.

Memberrole

Works with customers, sales documents, purchases, tasks, and files. Cannot open administrator-only settings, Accounting, or Reports.

Owners and admins are the same tier

Behind the scenes there is a single check: are you an owner or an admin? Yes — the request proceeds. No — it does not. Owner and admin are distinguished only in the few places that care about the specific role string, such as changing roles and preventing the owner's removal.

There is no per-module permission system for Accounting. A member is not "read-only on accounting" — they are simply not routed to it at all.

The Members List

Each member's row shows their role and, for anyone other than the owner, a set of controls. Invite a member with Add user.

Removing members and changing roles

Owners and admins can remove a non-owner member from the team. Existing roles are shown on the members list, but this screen does not currently offer a control to change one.

Inviting Someone

Invitation is by email address only — there is no way to add someone directly.

Team Member or Admin. An existing owner cannot be downgraded this way.

The invitation link is emailed and expires after 7 days. Someone who already has a Qyri account accepts straight away; anyone else sets a password during the acceptance flow.

Seat Limits

Your plan carries a user allowance, shown on Billing. Inviting someone checks it.

In practice this check is not reached, because members are added through the sign-in provider directly rather than through the server procedure that enforces the limit. Do not treat the displayed limit as a hard cap on how many people can be in the workspace.

What Members Can and Cannot See

A member cannot reach:

  • The Settings entry in the sidebar, or the General, Team, Accounting, and Billing settings pages
  • Accounting — transactions, chart of accounts, reconciliation
  • Reports
  • Billing

A member can use:

  • Customers and their company and contact records
  • Sales — quotations, invoices, recurring invoices, reminders, credit notes
  • Purchases — bills and vendors
  • Tasks
  • Vault — subject to the per-file visibility below

File Visibility in the Vault

The one place roles are applied per-object rather than per-module is the Vault. Every file and folder is marked either:

  • Everyone — every member can see it.
  • Restricted — only the person who uploaded it, plus owners and admins.

This is the only fine-grained access control in the workspace.

Account & Permissions

Your own name, email, and password live under Settings → Account. Your email is read-only there.
