Customers
Manage the companies you bill, their contacts, and the balances they owe you.
Customers is where you keep the businesses you invoice. In Qyri the customer record is company-first: a company is the billable entity, and the people at that company are its contacts. A contact never stands alone as a customer — it belongs to a company.
Navigate to Customers from the main sidebar.
The Customer List
This page lists companies. It is a list of who you bill, not a sales pipeline — there are no owner, pipeline, or stage columns here.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Company | Logo (uploaded, or a favicon from the company's own domain), name, and company type. Click to open the record. |
| The company's own email, editable in the table | |
| Phone | The company's own phone number, editable in the table |
| Website | The company's website, editable in the table |
| Type | The company classification |
| Industry | Free-form industry, editable inline |
| Size | Startup, Small, Medium, Large, or Enterprise — editable inline |
| Revenue | Total invoiced to this company |
| Custom fields | Any fields you defined in Settings → Custom fields |
| Created | Relative age, from "Today" to "2y ago" |
Industry, size, and type are edited directly in the table — you do not need to open the record to change them.
Filters
- Search — matches across the company list.
- Size — Startup, Small, Medium, Large, Enterprise.
- Balance — Owes you money (any unpaid balance), Overdue, or Nothing owed.
- Quotes — Awaiting reply (a quote sent and not yet answered) or No quotes.
Active filters appear as chips below the table so you can see what you have narrowed by.
Exporting
Use the export button to queue a customer list export. The file is emailed to you rather than downloaded straight from the browser, and it honours the filters currently applied — so you get the whole filtered list, not just the twenty rows on screen.
Adding a Company
Click Add a customer in the Customers list.
Name is the only required field. Email, phone, website, industry, address, city, country, and province are optional and can be filled in later.
Tick create a primary contact to add a person at the same time — name, email, phone, position, and department. The contact is created with primary: true so it becomes the company's default recipient.
The Company Record
Click a company row to open it. The record shows, top to bottom:
- Financial summary — Total Invoiced, Paid, Outstanding, and Collected, plus your last payment.
- Contacts — everyone attached to the company, with the primary contact identified.
- Recent invoices — the company's most recent invoices, with a shortcut to the full list.
- Open tasks — tasks still outstanding against this company.
- Recent activity — a dated feed of what has happened on the record.
The record opens in a side panel that overlays the list, so you can move between customers without losing your filters or scroll position. The same panel opens from an invoice row, a search hit, or a file in the Vault — a company reached from any of those behaves identically.
Contacts
A company can have any number of contacts. Exactly one is primary, and the primary contact is the one used as the default recipient on sales documents and email.
When you have no explicit primary set, Qyri falls back to the oldest contact — so adding contacts does not unexpectedly change who your invoices go to, as long as you set a primary deliberately.
Contacts are managed from the record's Contacts section. Opening a contact shows their own summary alongside the company they belong to.
Auto-Creating Companies
You do not have to create a company by hand first. When you start a sales document for a company Qyri does not yet know about, it offers to create the company inline rather than sending you back to the Customers list.
