Pipelines
Create and customize sales pipelines with stages that match your workflow.
Pipelines define the stages that deals move through in your sales process. You can create multiple pipelines for different types of sales or business processes.
Creating a Pipeline
- Navigate to CRM > Pipelines.
- Click New Pipeline.
- Enter a name for the pipeline.
- Add stages with names and colors.
Managing Stages
Each pipeline consists of ordered stages. You can:
- Add stages — Add new stages at any position.
- Reorder stages — Drag stages to rearrange the order.
- Edit stages — Change the name or color of a stage.
- Delete stages — Remove a stage (only if no deals are currently in it).
Stage Colors
Each stage has an associated color that appears on the deal board, making it easy to visually identify where deals are in your process.
Default Pipeline
The first pipeline you create becomes the default. When creating a new deal, it will be assigned to the default pipeline unless you specify otherwise.
Pipeline Board View
Navigate to a pipeline to see its Kanban board. Deals appear as cards in their respective stage columns. The board features:
- Rounded columns with a color accent bar matching the stage color.
- Drag-and-drop to move deals between stages.
- Stage edit popover — Click the stage header to edit stage properties inline.
Best Practices
- Keep it simple — Start with 4-6 stages. You can always add more later.
- Name stages by action — Use names like "Qualified", "Proposal Sent", "Negotiating", "Closed Won" instead of generic names.
- Use multiple pipelines — If you have different sales processes (e.g., new business vs. renewals), create separate pipelines.
